Roller Ranch is owned and operated by Brent and Jenny Roller and their two sons, Blake and Bryce, in Hewitt, Minnesota. Brent has been involved in agriculture and the cattle industry his entire life, growing up on a farm before purchasing and establishing his own farming operation in 2011. Today, the Roller family operates a diversified crop and cattle enterprise, raising corn, soybeans, edible beans, and hay alongside their registered Simmental and SimAngus seedstock program. Jenny works as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) at a local hospital while managing the day-to-day administrative responsibilities of the cattle operation. Together, Brent and Jenny share a passion for agriculture, family, and producing high-quality livestock. In 2020, the Rollers shifted their focus from backgrounding feeder cattle to developing a progressive registered Simmental breeding program. Since then, they have invested heavily in elite donor females, proven herd sires, artificial insemination, and embryo transfer technologies to accelerate genetic advancement and build a program centered on performance, functionality, and phenotype. The Roller family has assembled a strong foundation of genetics from leading programs across the Midwest, including cattle sourced from Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Colorado, and Oklahoma. Their commitment to continuous improvement is reflected through extensive data collection, genomic testing, and performance evaluation on every calf born. As proud members of the American Simmental Association and recognized Performance Advocate breeders, Roller Ranch participates in Total Herd Enrollment, Calf Crop Genomics, and comprehensive performance reporting. Every animal in the herd receives 100K genomic testing, providing customers with reliable, data-driven information to make confident breeding decisions. Today, Roller Ranch is committed to producing elite Simmental and SimAngus genetics that excel in the pasture, perform in the feedlot, and compete at the highest levels in the show ring. Each spring, Roller Ranch hosts its annual Bull and Female Sale, offering a select group of performance-tested Simmental and SimAngus bulls and females backed by industry-leading genetics and data.
